The mission of the Solon Retirement Village Foundation, a not-for-profit organization, is to advance the quality of life of the elderly and disabled served by the Solon Retirement Village and in the Solon area. The Foundation is governed by a volunteer board of directors.

The Foundation is supported solely by grants and donations and is used for needs above and beyond the capabilities of the Solon Retirement Village business. Supported projects include additional seating for community church services in the Chapel, a Nustep exercise machine for Assisted Living, activity supplies for Memory Care and much more.
